Terms of Use
Last updated: September 22, 2026
1. The service
StatementHarbor is a free, browser-based tool that converts PDF bank statements into CSV, Excel-compatible, and QBO files. The tool runs locally in your web browser; your documents are never uploaded to us.
2. Acceptable use
- Only convert statements you own or are authorized to handle — for example, your own accounts or those of bookkeeping clients.
- Do not use the tool for any unlawful purpose, including processing fraudulently obtained documents.
- Do not attempt to disrupt the site or use it in a way that violates applicable laws.
3. Accuracy and your responsibility
Statement parsing is automated and imperfect. Layouts change, scans resist reading, and edge cases slip through. You are responsible for reviewing converted output before relying on it for accounting, tax, or reconciliation purposes. We flag known limitations openly on each page rather than pretending they don't exist.
4. No professional advice
Nothing on StatementHarbor constitutes financial, accounting, tax, or legal advice. The guides describe file formats and workflows, not what you should do with your money.
5. Trademarks
Bank names (Chase, Wells Fargo, HDFC, and others) are trademarks of their respective owners. StatementHarbor is independent and not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any bank. Trademarks are used solely to describe file compatibility.
6. Limitation of liability
The tool is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, StatementHarbor is not liable for any damages arising from use of the site, including data entry errors introduced during conversion that a user did not review.
7. Changes
We may update these terms as the service evolves. Material changes will update the date above.
